The Rikers Island inmate who tried and failed to escape Thursday tried to escape again on Sunday.

The officer, Vincent D'Andraia, was seen on video shoving a female protester seemingly without provocation.

"These people are standing up for unjust things going on in the country," one man said of the protesters.

"New York's entire parole system is drawing in black and brown people at a wildly disparate rate."

At least some of the complaints were substantiated by the city's Civilian Complaint Review Board, the attorney for one of the defendants said.

The 14-year-old is being charged as an adult, sources said.
