A three-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a van in Brooklyn last night. The boy was in a stroller, being pushed by his 13-year-old sister, and at the corner of Kent and Flushing Avenues, a van turning right onto Kent "hit the stroller and kept going," according to witnesses and the police. A witness told WABC 7, "The kid was trying to cry, but it looked like he was struggling."

The Daily News spoke to source who said "the rear wheel of the vehicle ran over the boy's stomach after he was thrown from the blue carriage." The boy, identified as Yosef Tannenbaum, was taken to Bellevue Hospital. The police are looking for surveillance video and more witnesses; it's believed the vehicle may be a large passenger van.
