A group of good Samaritans managed to rescue a woman from under an SUV on Sunday night by "collectively lifting" the heavy vehicle off the ground, according to police.

A senior visiting her son from Florida for the holidays was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver while in a Brooklyn crosswalk on Friday afternoon, police said.

Police say the child dragged by the driver, who was taken into custody.

A 45-year-old pedestrian in Chelsea was killed by the driver of a speeding pickup truck, who then fled the scene, police said.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
