Two people died in separate collisions in the Bronx over a 24-hour period, according to police.

Officials said Ded Kroni, a 70-year-old Bronx resident, was crossing the street on Bainbridge Avenue near East Mosholu Parkway South when he was struck by a Mercedes-Benz driver at around 9 p.m. Thursday. The driver stayed at the scene.

It’s unclear if the driver blew through a traffic signal or where Kroni was crossing the street.

In a separate crash, Fredrick Hall, a 35-year-old Bronx resident, was driving a motorcycle on the Cross Bronx Expressway near the Third Avenue exit when he found himself between two tractor trailers at around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said he collided with the truck to his right, before spinning out of control into the truck in the next lane, a 2025 Volvo tractor trailer, which crushed him underneath its wheels.

Hall was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead. The driver of the Volvo tractor trailer stayed at the scene, but the other truck driver fled, according to police.
