Shake Shack Polar Brrrger Club Will Convene This Friday

The Shake Shack in Madison Square Park boasts some of the longest lines in town. But on Friday a group of die hard Shackaholics are hoping the incoming Nor-Easter will separate the amateurs from the fanatics. The third Polar Brrrger Club, organized by the "Burger Conquest" crew, is expected to convene at Shake Shack on Friday afternoon.

All fun-loving burger fanatics are "encouraged to dress up in their best Hawaiian shirts and sunglasses (neither are required) and defy Mother Nature" in the park at 1 p.m. on Friday. The club's organizer, one mysterious Rev Ciancio, said in a statement, "Polar Bear Clubs are silly, this is ridiculous. Diving into icy waters is so 1903. The 2013 Serious Eater knows to grow their body when it gets cold out! Lines suck! Why not take advantage of those who will stay inside and get one of the best burgers in NYC without the wait?!??!" BYO EXCLAMATION POINTS AND QUESTION MARKS!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!

Ciancio says he'll be the one standing outside Shake Shack wearing a Hawaiian shirt, checkered hat and sun glasses. And ladies, rumor has it he's available!
