This weekend, the booze-friendly city of New Orleans played host to shakers and stirrers from the world over at the annual Tales of the Cocktail festival, and New York bars racked up some top-shelf awards at the Spirited Awards ceremony.

West Village speakeasy Employees Only took the coveted World's Best Cocktail Bar title, in addition to World's Best Drink Selection (Sip of Mata Hari, anyone?); while Eleven Madison Park took Best Restaurant Bar; Kenta Goto of Pegu Club and Sam Ross of Milk and Honey won Best American Bartender; and Audrey Sanders of Pegu Club took the Best Bar Mentor award (and then proceeded to get married later that night).
