Manhattan music venue Terminal 5 will be closed this evening, after a small fire broke out in a storage room late Thursday. Damage from the blaze was "minimal," and thankfully, no one was in the building at the time. Nevertheless, tonight's Judah & The Lion show has been cancelled.

"The fire was contained in a timely manner, there were no injuries, and damage was minimal," the venue said in a statement. "A thorough investigation is underway to ensure the safety and security of the venue for fans, artists, and staff."

The space, run by Bowery Presents, has occupied the block of W. 56th Street near the West Side Highway since 2007. It also occupies a special place in many New Yorkers' hearts, particularly if you are the type of person who derives enjoyment from complaining about music venues.

Refunds for tonight's show are available at point of purchase. Maybe we'll see you next week at, uh, Yung Gravy.
