An emergency response to structural damage discovered in a Midtown tower included the evacuation of 148 guests at the Hampton Inn Grand Central.

Some residents had been allowed to return home.

NYPD officials said they still are looking for a few people in connection with the incident.

More than 10,000 people gathered in the area north of Madison Square Garden between Fifth and Eighth avenues, NYPD said.

Police say she fell about 10 feet down an open manhole in Midtown on Monday night.

The opening was uncovered when the 56-year-old plunged about 10 feet, according to the NYPD.

The 17-year-old is facing murder and other charges in the stabbing incident and several robberies in the area.

The 17-year-old boy was taken into custody Wednesday evening near Stillwell and Surf avenues in Coney Island, police said.
