Police say a pedestrian shot a motorist in Brooklyn early Saturday morning after the driver allegedly made a u-turn that came a little too close to the pedestrian for their liking.

"The fact that he is a police officer and drunk makes no sense at all," the victim's father said.

Witnesses saw him make the U-turn.

He was trying to U-turn but then skidded.

One person believes the driver panicked and "instead of hitting the brakes, she hit the floor."
