Holder's father refused to address the shooter by name at sentencing, calling him "a beast" instead.

The pastor at Officer Randolph Holder's family's church said his death should be a "catalyst for unification."

The discovery comes as city leaders are changing their tune on criminal justice reform.

"I believe in constitutional rights but I also believe in common sense."

And a vigil was held in Officer Holder's memory.
