On Saturday, the 27th Annual Coney Island Sand Sculpting Contest took place. Here are some of our favorite pieces.

The castles were judge on the basis of fun, levity, and public reception. Thankfully for all the contestants, Vincent D'Onofrio and his family weren't around to slay them.
