A memorial for a 16-year-old who was fatally shot on the Lower East Side last Friday descended into chaos on Wednesday afternoon. "It was sickening, and really weird to see," a witness told us.

"Someone was trying to take his coat, but didn’t get it," a police source said. The Post talked to several of Ward's friends who suggested that he may have known the perp beforehand.
