Lucerne Hotel

After a months-long battle, a court has ruled that the city can move homeless men out of a hotel on the Upper West Side.

“I was just getting to know what it’s like to have a good night's sleep. To now become a target of them is horrifying...I’m right back on guard. Every little sound I’m jumping up.”

The decision reverses a lower court decision from last week that permitted the city to move the men to another hotel in downtown Manhattan.
