Now that his alibi has checked out, the DA has decided to drop all charges against Karl Vanderwoude. “A lot of people say they didn’t do it. This is the real case,” said his lawyer.

“I didn’t do it. I wasn’t even in the vicinity of these incidents,” said "well-dressed groper" suspect Karl Vanderwoude. “It’s a case of mistaken identity.”

"I don’t believe it’s him," said his landlady, Carmen Olmedo. "To me he doesn’t have to grope anybody. All he has to do is wink and they’d go chasing him."

"Well-dressed groper" suspect Karl Vanderwoude's lawyer said he hosted weekly bible meetings at his apartment. CBS reports that Vanderwoude also apparently volunteered at a women’s crisis center counseling victims of domestic disputes.

Police have arrested and charged a suspect from Brooklyn who they believe is the "well-dressed groper" who has attacked at least four women in Manhattan this year.
