A string of court precedents have whittled away at public corruption theories, to the benefit of Brian Benjamin, Joe Percoco and others.

The nation’s top court heard arguments in the cases of Joseph Percoco and Louis Ciminelli, both of which are tied to the Cuomo administration.

Percoco's lawyers were seeking no more than two years.

The man that governor referred to as “my father’s third son,” essentially received a 100% mortgage on his $815,000 home from lenders with close ties to the governor’s office.

"When you leave state government you can work in the private sector and represent private sector companies. Yes, that's totally allowable."

Percoco "is right out of central casting," and Cuomo has described him as "my father's third son who sometimes I think he loved the most."
