High school admissions for NYC's public schools have changed, leaving parents and students overwhelmed.

“For eight months, they have sat on this and they knew exactly what they had to do," one parent said. "So I don't understand."

Learning about the policies that create these inequities made me question how progressive our city and its government actually is.
