No Halo Top scoop shops are planned for NYC just yet, but they'll be serving up soft-serve from a pop-up soon.

The lawsuit was filed in Brooklyn and states that the name Halo Top makes one think of yellow which makes one think of butter which makes one think of real ice cream. Or something.

Whether this is achieved via science or a ritualistic blood-letting ceremony held in a walk-in freezer in Los Angeles, I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.
