Police said all five victims where traveling in the same vehicle, whose driver struck a center median, upending the vehicle.

The woman who died in the collision early Friday was identified as Krystyna Naprawa, according to DC 37, the city employees union that represents crossing guards.

The incident is under internal investigation

The woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver on February 7th.

"I never saw her," the driver said. "I felt a bump."

The driver has a previous conviction and was behind the wheel without a license.

The worker apparently had tried to reach for something under the ride when he was hit.

A motorcyclist traveling northbound on the West Side Highway was knocked off his vehicle by an SUV who fled the scene, then struck and killed by another driver who was arrested for a DWI.

"It was horrible. I'm visiting New York City. This is my fourth day here and this is the second death I've seen," eyewitness Ashley Fishner told CBS.
