Police say the man charged with hate crimes had recently attended a social event at the synagogue and returned days later to ram his car into the building five times.

The 16-year-old was shot in his head and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened early Friday morning in Crown Heights.

Seven people were injured in four separate incidents as the annual parade came to a close along Eastern Parkway.

The violence came at the end of a largely peaceful weekend as New Yorkers celebrated Caribbean heritage with the annual event that draws hundreds of thousands of people to the borough.

There were no injuries reported, or arrests.

One was taken to an area hospital with severe head trauma, and two were taken to area hospitals and treated for leg trauma

A woman was killed by a 3 train at Eastern Parkway and Utica Ave this morning after reportedly fainting on the platform.

Two men died from separate stabbings, while two people were shot.
