The incident occurred roughly two weeks after another pair of teenagers drowned off Jacob Riis Park in Queens.

Police said the boys, 16 and 17, were last seen in the water at 6:30 p.m. Friday

The NYPD said another teen was found in stable condition, but divers were unable to locate the missing boy.

"There was just confusion. There’s no access to the water, no safety buoys or supports under the pier that you can grab onto. It was a helpless thing to watch."

The couple was from Long Island and had apparently been celebrating a friend's birthday.

A spokesperson for the NYPD said a corpse discovered at Beach 98th Street on Tuesday morning matched the description of 17-year-old Lamine Sarr.

An 11-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital Saturday after she nearly drowned while swimming off the shore of Coney Island, an FDNY spokesperson said.

His companion, who was also swimming in the area, was rescued but not injured.

The incident occurred in the wealthy North Shore enclave of Cold Spring Harbor.

The ME's office has ruled the death an accident.
