Alternate side parking is suspended for continued snow removal and 600 workers are working to clear pedestrian areas and bike lanes.
"We're about to make the biggest change to alternate side parking in the last two decades: New Yorkers only have to move their cars once a week."
There is a possibility it will be extended beyond that. "We'll see how it goes," de Blasio said.
