Afropunk Fest

Day two of the Afropunnk Fest is today, at Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene, from 12:00 noon to 9:30 p.m.

While the acts on stage were top notch, the festival's real appeal was the other concert-goers, most of whom were decked out in threads that would send those Coachella poseurs back to Urban Outftters in tears.

The ninth annual Afropunk Fest will be held this weekend in Fort Greene's Commodore Berry Park, and based on the eclectic lineup and expansive selection of food trucks, it will be difficult for even the staunchest Derider of Fun to fail to find something worthwhile.
