The view from the 5th and 2nd worst cities for commuting, NYC and Honolulu.

It's another fun game of: who has the worst commute?! Last we checked (just three weeks ago), New York City had The Worst traffic, and back in December it was decided that New Yorkers had the longest commutes, and now GPS data shows that New York City (specifically on the Bruckner/Cross Bronx Expressways/I-95 southbound) has the nation's 5th worst commute.

The ranking was determined "by gathering data from GPS and smartphone tracking, a company called INRIX was able to measure the places where gridlock has become a way of life."

Coming in at #1 is Los Angeles, and #2 is Honolulu... but at least they get to look at palm trees and turquoise blue water.
