Have you noticed something missing from NBC's 11 PM news lately? Poor Chuck Scarborough has had to handle it all by himself since early November, when New York's favorite f-bomb dropping news anchor Sue Simmons went under the knife for major spinal surgery! Well now we can all breathe a sigh of relief: Sue's made a full recovery, and as of Monday night, she's back.
"I'm excited, but I also have anxiety because I've been laying around for nine weeks," she told NBCU. "I didn't know how my body was going to work, specifically my neck holding my head up... I just felt like the world was passing me by. On the other hand, I was very relaxed. I caught up on all my DVDs. I watched television till my eyeballs were raw." Looks like we have another Groundhog Day impression to look forward to this year!
