While celebrities of all shapes and sizes have come out in support of marriage equality, one former football player has really embraced the other side of the argument. That'd be former Giant David Tyree, who has come out fast and furious in the past week against the issue, making a video in which he said gay marriage would lead to anarchy, lobbying in Albany by saying he'd give up his Super Bowl ring to keep the homos unmarried and, on Tuesday night, keeping at it by spewing yet more bile on Fox:

Tyree says a lot of silly things in his spiel—"I couldn't even act like I'm educated enough to launch into that arena," is a good one—but the moment that stands out comes at the end when he says that gay marriage means "If I have my child at a public school and I'm totally against same-sex or homosexuality, now they have the right to teach my child that this is something normal, or true." Which, uhm, yes. Exactly.

And it is probably worth noting that host David Asman manages to keep a pretty straight face throughout the interview. There is something refreshing in seeing a Fox host exasperatedly argue, "But we are not a theocracy! The United States very clearly spells out we are not a theocracy. We don't allow religious beliefs to dictate law."
