Corey Feldman is making the press rounds speaking about his late friend Corey Haim, who died yesterday morning. Today he wrote a short piece for the NY Post, in which he says, "This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference."

He expanded on that last sentiment on Larry King yesterday. The full clip is below, where the actor says he is grateful for the outpouring of emotions coming from the Hollywood community, but also "angry, hurt and sad." He says Haim was broke when he died, living with his mother who was battling cancer, but "where were all these people the last 10 years, the last 15 years, of Corey's life. Where were all these people to lend a handout, to reach out to him and say, you're a legend, you're an amazingly talented wonderful person who's never really gone out of his way to hurt anyone, other than himself? Why is it okay to kick somebody when they're down? I don't think it should be tolerated anymore."

Currently it's being rumored that Haim died of a drug overdose, but many are under the impression he was doing well at the time of his death and had his problem under control (he even requested a completely "clean" set on his last movie). Feldman asked that the rumors stop until the coroner's report comes out.
