The police released surveillance video of suspects who allegedly beat and robbed a food deliveryman on Saturday in Brooklyn's 71st Precinct, which covers Crown Heights and Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
According to the NYPD, on March 22 at 9 p.m., a 44-year-old male deliveryman headed to 305 Clarkson Avenue to make a delivery. However, upon arrival, five people exited the building and started punching and kicking the him in the head. The police say the suspects "removed the victim's Apple I-Phone, $500, personal items, and food."
The victim was treated at Kings County Hospital for his injuries, including a broken nose, facial lacerations and head trauma.
The suspects are described as five males, with short black hair. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
