Times Square gets pretty packed on New Year's Eve, and this year two Swiss sisters in the crowd decided to get a little extra breathing space when the ball dropped. Unfortunately, that breathing space was on top of a police cruiser, which they allegedly jumped on, kicked and bashed in, getting themselves arrested for criminal mischief. Nothing like ringing in 2013 with an overseas felony charge!

Cops say Silvia Braham, 22, and Isabelle Braham, 23, jumped on the hood and roof of a police cruiser parked on 42nd Street and Ninth Avenue at midnight on Monday. They and two other unidentified individuals began to “kick and stomp on said vehicle multiple times with their feet and shoes, causing damage in that the roof and hood of said vehicle was severely indented and crushed,” according to court documents, though it sounds to us like they were just trying keep up with Gangnam Styling NYE performers Psy and MC Hammer.

The Braham sisters, who have been staying with family in New Jersey, allegedly racked up hundreds of dollars worth of damage in their NYE revelry, and got their passports seized in addition to getting charged with felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor rioting. They haven't been indicted yet, and are due back in court on Tuesday.
