Two teenagers were stabbed, one fatally, during a fight at a large Fourth of July house party on Long Island, according to local authorities.

Nassau Cops said they responded to a call at the New Cassel home at around 1 a.m. on Thursday morning, where they found a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds.

The younger boy died at the hospital, while the older one was in stable condition, police said.

According to Nassau County police, over 100 people were at the house party when a large fight broke out. Shots were fired, but no one was hit and no weapons have been recovered, investigators said.

Police also noted that they had reason to believe the party was advertised on Instagram. They are investigating the cause of the fight, and still seeking suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
