Are your coworkers surprisingly late for work today? It may not be their fault as "switching problems" at 14th Street-Union Square have thrown the 4/5/6 lines into disarray. Perfectly timed with the MTA's fare hike announcement, eh? At least some service has finally kicked back in.
According to the MTA the service should have just kicked back in... but expect major delays going in both directions on the 4/5/6 lines. And as you can see, straphangers are just so happy about this:
