A new poll from Siena College shows that Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's favorability rating dropped "to its lowest level since 2008. While still high at 59 percent, that's 8 points lower than when he announced his candidacy last month. His lead among independent votes dropped 20 points," according to 1010 WINS. Siena's Steven Greenberg said, "Independent voters across the board moved away from Democrats and toward Republicans over the last few weeks. I think independents are looking at government in Albany and Washington and seeing the Democrats are in complete control ... and they are not happy with the state or the national direction." Another stat: 15% of Independents blamed Republicans for "bad government" while 27% blamed Democrats.
