A Daily News reporter decided to show up to the Phillies' Citizens Bank Park in full Mets uniform and—surprise!—the Phillies fans were totally mean to him! He paraded around the stadium yelling "FIRST PLACE METS," but failed to win any converts to his side of the ongoing rivalry. One fan yelled "I hate the Mets more than any team in history right now. This makes me sick! I hope you have a terrible season." They won't if yesterday's 9-1 win is any indicator!

While some fans just rolled their eyes at his antics, others threatened to get violent. While doing a "victory jig" near the famous Rocky statue, one fan shouted "No Mets fans allowed near Rocky. Impossible. Just go home." Another yelled "Go back to New York before we send you back in a trunk," and took a swing at him while he was in the middle of a Mets chant. However, he said they began to lose steam as the Mets continued to score, and as he walked out of the stadium nobody had the energy to heckle. Next time, we want a Mr. Met v. Phillie Phanatic showdown.
