An Illinois woman was arrested in Manhattan on Wednesday carrying 18 knives and other weapons in her vehicle after she allegedly threatened Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and other Democrats online, the NYPD confirmed on Thursday.
A police spokesperson said the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the vicinity of West 46 Street and 12th Avenue. Illinois resident Jessica Prim, 37, was arrested after Secret Service agents reported observing her to be "in possession of several cutting instruments, blunt objects and alleged marijuana."
The Post reports that Prim, who also performs under the name Nikita Steele, was spotted outside Pier 86 by USS Intrepid security, who called the cops. She was broadcasting on Facebook Live as the incident unfolded, telling the Secret Service agents on camera that she had been headed to the USNS Comfort because, she said, "I feel like I'm the coronavirus."
Sources told the Post that the Secret Service was there because the agency had put out an alert on Prim after she allegedly posted threatening messages about Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton on Facebook earlier that day. Among her posts in recent days were several pro-Trump messages and QAnon conspiracy theories about Democrats: “Hillary Clinton and her assistant, Joe Biden and Tony Podesta need to be taken out in the name of Babylon! I can’t be set free without them gone. Wake me up!!!!!”
Prime was taken to Mount Sinai West for treatment. She has been charged with 18 counts of criminal possession of a weapon, for 18 knives she reportedly had in her vehicle, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
