An enterprising young Long Island postal worker was arrested this week for allegedly selling marijuana out of his mail truck in a post office's parking lot. This activity is still considered illegal, but think of all the good it would do the ever-dying Postal Service if it weren't, considering you can't send someone an eighth of weed over Gmail. Though that technology can't be too far behind—the time to act is NOW, USPS. (Sorry, here's the definition of "now.")

Authorities say that on Wednesday, 29-year-old Jimmy Henry of Freeport, LI, was caught selling marijuana to 24-year-old Jennie Pappas in the parking lot of the Merrick Post Office. Henry, who is employed with USPS, was allegedly observed handing Pappas a silver container that had been stashed in the back of his mail truck. Cops say they found marijuana on Pappas, and later discovered Henry had "a black bag containing a substance believed to be marijuana" in his truck.

Both Henry and Pappas were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana, and Henry was also charged with the criminal sale of marijuana.
