The ramifications of Hurricane Irene are still being felt by the many people who have been stranded at JFK since Saturday. The storm caused the airport to suspend all flights, and it has been struggling to catch up ever since then. Naturally, people are starting to get a little annoyed at the fiasco. So much so that airport security had to be called on some of the complainers.

Before Irene even hit there were groans on Twitter about JFK. The rapper J-Live tweeted, "AND the pilot just announced 'we're gonna be sutton here for an hour. Enjoy the beautiful view of JFK' #GolfClap." Another person simply said, "JFK is out of control right now." But they had it good compared to a group of 248 passengers waiting for a flight to Guyana.

According to The Daily News, when the pack — who have been stranded since Saturday — started chanting "We wanna go!" airport security was called to settle them down. Milton Bruce, one of the waiting passengers, said, "We're tired. There are people in wheelchairs, elderly people, one woman is pregnant and looks like she's going to deliver any second."

Bruce saw the security presence as a slap in the face. "They called the cops on us," he said. "Five cops showed up and told us to sit down." Imagine! Asking a group of 248 people who are yelling to sit down! The injustice at JFK is clearly rampant. Don't even get us started on how much a king size Snickers costs there.

The airlines have all said that they're trying their best, so hopefully the mess will be sorted out soon. Now if only American Airlines officials can find Jack the Cat, who is lost at JFK!
