A man allegedly grabbed two girls at a Manhattan Shake Shack yesterday, and police are hoping the public can help identify and find him.
According to the NYPD, the incidents occurred at 11:30 a.m. at the Shake Shack located at 366 Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side: "[A]n unidentified male approached a 12-year-old female victim on the stairs between the downstairs dining area and the street level and grabbed her wrist. The victim pulled away and the suspect continued downstairs. Five to ten minutes later, the same male approached a 13-year-old female victim outside of the location, asked her name and hug and kissed her right cheek. The victim pulled away and the suspect fled on foot on Columbus Avenue."
The police released video of the suspect outside and inside the restaurant; he is described as being 5'6" and 155 pounds with black hair, and wearing a black waist-length leather jacket, dark blue pants and black sneakers.
He is wanted for endangering the welfare of a child.
