This year not one New York City kid made it into the final round of the Intel Science Talent Search (still the Westinghouse Science Talent Search in our hearts). New York State at least had seven finalists, beaten by California's 11. And the city had seven semi-finalists, so there is that. But still, let's do better next time, mmmkay?
