Five teenaged girls have been arrested in connection with the violent brawl at a Brooklyn McDonald's this month that left one teen seriously injured. New video has now emerged showing the fight in even more graphic detail.
The Daily News obtained a second video from the attack, in which 18-year-old Ariana Taylor was pitted against six other teens:
16-year-old Aniah Ferguson, shown stomping on Taylor's head in the video, was arrested last week and charged with robbery and gang assault; she is due back in court today. Ferguson allegedly told detectives that the fight with Taylor was part of an ongoing conflict, and she and her friends showed up at the McDonald's looking to confront her.
The NYPD has also arrested 16-year-old Mercedes Wilkinson, 17-year-old Tilani Marshall, 15-year-old Dahvina Gonzalez, and a 14-year-old suspect who was pulled off a plane to Jamaica. The teenagers are all believed to be students at Erasmus High School in Brooklyn.
Earlier this week, Mayor de Blasio told reporters he and wife Chirlane McCray had seen the video, and called it "deeply disturbing," adding, "We have to do a lot more work to reach them to try and put them on the right path, and a lot of that has to happen early in their lives." He also noted that the fight shows that "some of our young people have gone astray.”
