NYU Local printed one student's thoughts on what the seven tactical errors Take Back NYU! made during its occupation/protest last week. Some of the errors: "They made too many demands at one time," asking for "amnesty for all involved was a mistake" especially as the first demand (it "should not have even made it onto the list") and less-than-optimal communication with supporters on the outside—"the topless antics of the two female protestors lost them quite a bit of credibility early on, because people were willing and more than able to write off the occupation as an amateurish stunt without a proper center of power." Take Back NYU! co-organizer Emily Stainkampf, who was suspended, appreciated the criticisms, "Some of these critiques are misinformed, but the overall levelheadedness and fairness with which they have been written warms my heart."
