The Daily News reports, "A man was crushed to death after he jumped in front of a subway train in Times Square on Monday, police said. The man, whose name was not immediately released, leaped in front of a northbound 3 train about 3:35 p.m., officials said. He died when the subway ran over him."
One person Tweeted, "I saw a man crushed under a 3 train in the times square subway station. Seriously freaked out right now." According to the MTA's website, the 2 and 3 trains are in "good service" right now but they had been running local between 96th Street and Chambers earlier.
