Housing Authority Superintendent Anthony Dingle is suing his boss, Demetrice Gadson, for verbally harassing him to such a degree that he suffered from a bleeding prostate that had to be treated by a urologist. Dingle, 48, claims Gadson repeatedly unleashed vindictive tongue-lashings after he reported her to upper management over some unspecified violations. Through his lawyers, he tells the Post, "I was constantly being attacked by her. I felt like attacks could come at any time. Every time I heard her voice, it triggered a sickening feeling in me." Gadson—who sounds more like the aggrieved wife in the Lockhorns cartoons than a boss—allegedly savored the suffering she could inflict just by opening her mouth.
When one of Dingle's colleagues told Gadson, 43, that he had to take "medication to calm his stomach and to get his intestinal system properly functioning," the heave-il boss allegedly crowed, "I did not know that I made men throw up" — and then laughed hysterically. Her voice can also make them mentally ill: the lawsuit says Dingle was so emotionally distraught by Gadson's haranguing that he "began seeing a psychological therapist, and he continues, to date, to see this therapist on a weekly basis."
