  • Rangers 3 Devils 1: Why can’t they play like this all the time? Maybe it’s because the Devils seem to turn and run at the sight of “New York” (winless this season against the Rangers and Islanders) on their opponents jerseys. Whatever the reason, the Rangers need to replicate this effort a lot over the remainder of the season.

Chris Drury had two goals, one against an empty net while Brandon Dubinsky got things started for the Rangers with a nice play in the first. Things got a little chippy at the end of the second when Ryan Hollweg and Vitaly Vishnevski mixed things up in the Devils’ net, but overall it was a clean, good game. Henrik Lundqvist added 34 saves to get the win.

  • Portland 94 Knicks 88: A seven-point lead with just over three minutes to go evaporated in the final seconds and the Knicks headed to OT. Brandon Roy had a key tip-in with 37 seconds left to give Portland a three-point lead and the eventual win.
  • A Giant Gets Arrested In Arizona: Not being a member of the active roster apparently gives some morons a reason to celebrate too much.
