Apple announced the release of their iMac computer in 1998, and yet in 2011 society still hasn't gotten over the urge to place a lowercase-i in front of anything having to do with the company. For instance, the Post reports today on 16-year-old Zenquell Rodriguez, an East Village "iThug" who "iJacked" two iPods and iPhones around the nabe since February.
One police source said, "We're glad that we got the little menace. He needed to be taken off the streets," and commenters punned, "He's obviously an i-diot." Great, does everyone have that joke out of their systems now? Because if it's OK we'd really like to move on to adding #WINNING after every sentence.
