A 42-year-old Brooklyn man was fatally stabbed in the groin last night after having an affair with his accused killer's wife. Leon Leslie died at Brookdale University Hospital early this morning, and Alrick Holding has been arrested and charged with murder. Leslie's uncle Ansel says that he found Holding standing over his nephew, who was lying in a pool of blood, and when he tried to intervene, Holding turned on him. "If I didn't kick him down, he would have killed me," Ansel told the Daily News.

Ansel needed 29 stitches to his face and shoulder after the altercation with Holding, and said, "I feel bad—my friend is in prison and he killed my nephew. He's stupid to kill a man." This isn't the first time we've heard about groin stabbings in this city, but reading about it certainly doesn't get easier with time.
