It's been less than 24 hours since the grand jury's decision regarding the killing of Eric Garner has been released, giving 9/11 Mayor of 9/11 Rudy Giuliani more than enough time to 9/11 some pearls of wisdom out his facehole. Opinion du jour: racism played no part in this case, and in fact, Mayor de Blasio's the real racist here, because he cares about his young, biracial son's safety. The Protector Of Black Lives won't stand for this kind of prejudice!
The Duke of Kingdom 9/11 & All Its Dominions bestowed us with this sagacity during an appearance on Fox News this morning, where he claimed the grand jury that failed to indict officer Daniel Pantaleo for killing Garner "probably" made the right decision. Also, Sharpton and de Blasio are really just a pack of racists out to tear down the criminal justice system and set the city on fire. "One of the things the mayor and Sharpton and the others are doing, they are tearing down respect for a criminal justice system that goes back to England in the 11th century," he said, referring to a time in which keepers of justice would occasionally lop off people's limbs for petty crimes.
Apparently, this whole incident has nothing to do with race, even though Garner was an unarmed black man who was slain by a white cop during a violent arrest for a low-level crime. "First of all, there was no racism in this case,” Giuliani said. “If this man were a white man resisting arrest at the same size, the same thing would happen." And, hey, there was a black cop nearby! "If I recall correctly there was an African American sergeant on the scene observing, in charge of the entire situation, never did anything to stop it," he added.
Oh, but there's more. De Blasio, who gave a highly emotional press conference in Staten Island following the news of the jury's decision yesterday, is an actual bigot, since he's had to talk to 17-year-old son Dante about "the dangers that he may face" when dealing with the police, thanks to the color of his skin. This is prejudiced, according to Giuliani, because De Blasio should be more concerned about the dangers Dante may face when dealing with black people. "[Y]ou should spend 90% of your time talking about the way they’re actually probably going to get killed, which is by another black," he said. "To avoid that fact, I think is racist.”
Giuliani, on the other hand, is not a racist, having protected black males from one another by putting a whole slew of them behind bars for petty crimes during his mayoral reign. If only we could all be so enlightened.
