After helping take down a powerful governor, opening a fake restaurant in LA with Heidi Montag for reality TV, giving out sex advice for the Post, posing for Playboy and not writing her promised tell-all, what's a former working girl to do? Why, open a lingerie store in New Jersey, of course!

Yup, former call girl Ashley Dupre has gone and opened Femme by Ashley in Red Bank, New Jersey, and to celebrate she's given an interview with local blog Red Bank Green. "I’m just done with it," Dupre told the site regarding her scandalous persona. "I’m very private. People don’t believe that, but I’m a very private person" said the woman who posed for Playboy. "I don’t want that life. I’m not looking to be in the press. I’m just looking to get on with my life."

So what does getting on with her life mean? It means moving in with her boyfriend (a "paving industry exec") and his kids while opening up a store that sells swimsuits for $180-$200. It also means probably giving up the Post column (it has "run its course") and being prepared for lots of gawkers at her new shop ("I’m sure a lot of interesting people are going to walk through those doors.").

And so far, at least, the neighbors don't seem to mind her peddling her wares in town. According to Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna, only one person has complained about the call girl setting up shop there. "I reminded her that none of us are exemplary in every aspect of our lives," he recalled.
