Has your landlord left your freezing this winter? If you really want to get their attention you could always try 65-year-old Lube Paskoski's alleged tactic and chop up your furniture and start a fire.

The wonderfully-named Lube Paskoski used to be the super in his Livingston, Staten Island, apartment building and had been arguing with his landlord over the heat. On Monday he allegedly began hacking up his furniture to start a blaze but was stopped and taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation. He got back to his apartment on Wednesday morning and a little before 11 a.m. reportedly started a two-alarm fire in the building's garage.

It wasn't until after noon that the blaze was under control, and it had already caused extensive damage to three apartments including the the firestarter's. Paskoski was arrested on the scene with an open container of alcohol and, to make it worse, apparently became belligerent and broke some police furniture during questioning. That last bit got him a charge of criminal mischief while charges relating to the fire are pending.
