Four women who were enjoying the sights of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree were allegedly sexually abused by a former NYPD employee on Thursday night.

Atta Saad was at Rockefeller Plaza when, the News reports, police officers say they saw him "approach" victims "from behind at about 7:15 p.m." Saad allegedly rubbed his privates against 4 different women in the crowd over a 20 minute period. According to court records, one woman Saad rubbed up against scared him off by turning and glaring at him.

A police officer wrote in the criminal complaint:

I followed the defendant and observed the defendant push his groin up against a woman's buttocks and repeatedly rub against her. I observed that there was enough room behind the defendant such that he did not need to be pressed up against the woman. I observed no conversation between the woman and the defendant.

The News says that Saad was an NYPD traffic enforcement agent who resigned in 2015. He was charged with multiple counts of forcible touching and sexual abuse; and was released on $750 bail.
