Cynthia Rodriguez finally broke her silence and decided to present her case to gossip columnist Cindy Adams, who writes, " Cynthia Rodriguez loves her man. Cynthia Rodriguez has no malice...Ask again, you mean she's saying she really still loves her womanizing husband and what comes back is, Cynthia Rodriguez is 'not out to mutilate him.'"
Basically, C-Rod wants to fight rumors that she spent $100,000 while in Paris (she says, "I did not spend one dollar shopping in Paris. I did not go to super-fancy expensive restaurants. I did not go to any spa.") and that she abandoned the kids in Florida (she implies A-Rod encouraged her to leave the country when rumors of his affair with Madonna broke). Her lawyer told Adams that even though C-Rod filed for divorce, "One day he'll wake up... and he'll crash... but Cynthia will be there for him"--they just won't be married.
Right now, the tabloids are descending on women A-Rod may have had relationships with. There's Joslyn Morse, the stripper who was spotted with A-Rod in Toronto, and Alicia Marie, a "former Ms. Bikini Universe," who says A-Rod liked her muscles. And now Life & Style says that Madonna will attend an All-Star party A-Rod is hosting.
