A 40-year-old man was found dead in a car ablaze in a Metro-North parking lot.
The man, who has not been identified, was found in a late-model Chevy Tahoe at the Purdys station in North Salem around 3:45 p.m. yesterday. His burns were severe, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators remain uncertain how the fire started, CBS reports. An autopsy will be performed on the man this afternoon.
